A question at home. The beginning of Nogal.
How a problem close to home led me to explore other ways of studying with AI.
My wife was preparing for competitive exams, and I started exploring how AI could help her. I began with a question close to home rather than a list of features: how could I reduce the work of organising materials and turn them into useful learning tools?
Starting with the problem
Preparing study materials involves more than reading. It also means organising them, returning to them, practising and understanding your progress. This was the direction I began exploring with Nogal: an experience that connected the materials with the study process.
Shaping an idea
Nogal is an independent project that brings together a product perspective, UX/UI design and development with AI. It allows me to work on a concrete problem and shape a proposal, from organising study to tracking progress.
A journey to document
This article is the starting point for Nogal’s story. In AI Lab, I want to capture the decisions, tool experiments and questions that arise during development. The aim is to give the process enough context to explain what I am exploring and why.
